The following is the basis of my speech for DEFCON III. The speech took an hour (ack!) and still didn't cover the material that I needed to cover. In order to make the kind of claims I was making I truly needed the hypertext interface that the Web can provide.This is not the speech verbatim... This document is evolving, and I hope to use links to provide relevant support. My original notes will be preserved, so I can document the evolution of this document.

Defending freedoms through nonviolent disobedience:

privacy
access
association
communication
physical
Respecting others in all these rights.
protecting these rights for any groups protects us all

Threats to our rights (power structures - past, present, future)
